Each of us, whether aware of it or not, is always involved in a leadership context. In any field where you work, there is always a level of leadership, low or high, in which you must necessarily guide yourself and others as well.
Leadership is not a formal position, as is commonly thought, but it is an integral part of every human being’s life since the dawn of history.
It requires a part of it in your family life, in work, in organizations, in politics, in sport, in education, in schools, in religion, in health.
Whoever you are, whatever you do in life, you cannot escape the law of leadership to achieve OKRs.
You will find below the actions to be put into practice this year to improve the skills listed above.
1 – Have a clear vision
The history of all the great leaders shows that they have a common characteristic, “to be visionary.”
With a clear vision of what you want to do, you will be able to initiate and generate a change for yourself, for your team or organization and for the society in which you live.
Take the time to share your vision, your mission and your goals with the team. Your job as a leader is to provide a clear OKR that the team can follow.
Your team must also understand why the goals you set are valuable to them. Take the time to explain to them, in detail, how and why your vision not only improves the activities and goals of the team, but also how each of them will benefit.
2 – Be passionate
Passion in what you do is one of the most important fundamental skills of a leader.
Would you put one to lead a team if you don’t see it as passionate and determined to achieve the team’s goals? Obviously not!
The truth is that you can never lead a group, a team or an organization in an area where you have no passion.
Great leaders are not just focused on getting group members to achieve goals, but have a real passion and enthusiasm for the things they work for through OKR Software.
Start thinking about different ways you can express your zeal and make it clear that you care about everyone’s progress. When a person shares something with the rest of the group, let them know how much you appreciate this contribution.
3 – Live and act with integrity
Integrity connotes your deep commitment to doing the right thing for the right reason, regardless of the circumstances.
When you are whole, you can be incorruptible and unable to betray the trust of those who have trusted you.
Integrity is a very important factor: by consolidating your credibility and your personality, you will also strengthen your level of influence.
If you try to make your choices and take your actions in accordance with your values, you may sometimes feel an annoying feeling that does not fit in with the outside world.
However, people will perceive your integrity and, of course, they will respect your opinion and recognize your leadership.
